Our team consists of therapists (speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists), teachers, behaviour specialists, peer workers, and therapy assistants, as well as a small administrative team.
Our awesome team members are the heart of our organisation as they work directly with children and their families to create positive outcomes. Their professional, caring and respectful approach has created our reputation in the community as a truly important community resource.
We value our team and provide them with a range of learning and development, including access to training and supervision. Our NDIS team use evidence-based approaches that include family-centred practice, the Keyworker Model, strengths and play-based intervention, plus our team is transdisciplinary.

Volunteer with Us
Plumtree is a busy organisation and our wonderful volunteers assist us in a variety of ways. Some attend weekly, while others come whenever their own busy lives allow. Whatever your capacity, we would love to hear from you!
Volunteers are offered induction and support from a member of the team. Let us know if you have a particular interest or skill and want to talk about volunteering.
Volunteers must be 18 years or older. You will need a verifiable Working With Children Registration number.
Volunteers have played an important role in:
- Assisting staff in the preschool and in playgroups
- Contributing their personal and professional skills to help us improve our office and IT systems, to communicate our message more effectively
- Making resources for our staff to use with children and families.
