What’s happening at Plumtree
Services available on-site and online for families, building access for staff.
Our services are now being delivered by Telehealth and face-to-face as parents and carers have discovered the flexibility that going online offers. In response, some of our therapists are specialised in providing online services only.
Plumtree Preschool is open, and will only shut down if directed to by the Department of Health, the Department of Education or another governing body. If the preschool is shut down, fees will not be charged for these days. Parents and carers will receive an email about the closure.
COVID-19 measures at Plumtree Preschool
We have increased our already strict cleaning and hygiene practices. This includes updating our COVID-19 Policy so that we now:
- Have a Plumtree educator sign in and out for each child to limit the number of people who use the pen and touch the sign-on sheet
- Disinfect door handles every 30 minutes.
Working at Plumtree
The Plumtree building remains open, but we are asking staff to work from home. You should only come in for essential tasks, or if you cannot work from home. Please observe all government advice about hygiene and social distancing while at the Plumtree buildings.
Also consider:
- Adjusting start and finish times to reduce the number of people in the office at the same time
- Practice good hygiene by cleaning your workspaces throughout the day.
