The Nest series: Resuming early childhood education and care (ECEC) and finding the right service

Whether your child is attending an early childhood education setting for the first time, changing services or returning after an absence, there are many factors to consider in choosing the right type of service.

We will explore:

  • Explaining what is happening to children and including them in decision making
  • Communicating with the early childhood centres on sensitive topics
  • How early childhood centres can help children return after some time away
  • Changing early childhood education and care setting
  • Early childhood education options: family day care, long day care and preschool

Hear from our panel of professional staff and ask questions. The webinar is facilitated by Plumtree’s trained parent peer workers with lived experience in raising a child with disability.

Age focus

Please note that this series is primarily targeted at parents; however, Early Childhood Professionals are also welcome to attend.
