The Nest series: Is my child ready for preschool?
Starting preschool is an exciting new phase in a child and their family’s life. This webinar discusses whether you and your child are ready for preschool and what to expect. It also introduces the topics to be covered in the other sessions.
We will explore:
- Why families send their children to preschool
- Developmental milestones and attending preschool
- Preschool benefits: building skills and community
- Building respectful relationships
- Resuming preschool and finding the right service
- The value of inclusive preschools
Hear from our panel of professional staff and ask questions. The webinar is facilitated by Plumtree’s trained parent peer workers with lived experience in raising a child with disability.
For parents, family members and carers of children aged 2–6 years old.
Please note that this series is primarily targeted at parents; however, Early Childhood Professionals are also welcome to attend.
