Plumtree Nature Playgroup is about getting back to basics and having fun outside.
Come and be supported in learning about the simple, fun & beneficial play that can happen in a natural bush session. Everything your child needs to develop their skills is readily available in the bush.
You and your child will be supported to play and explore by Plumtree’s Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists working.
Each day in the bush is different.
We are often guided to particular activities dependent on the weather.
Activities might include
- Making mud pies
- Building with natural materials
- Slowing down to investigate & enjoy small wonders
- Climbing rocks, nature art and craft
- Learning about textures
This program is for
Families of children with disability, developmental delay or concerns about their development.
Maximum of 6 spots for this group (+ sibs)
First in best dressed.
Tuesday, 18 April; 10am to 12pm AEST/Sydney time
Parents must stay on-site during the session and are expected to encourage their children’s participation during the group.

To ensure the group’s success, we require 48 hours of cancellation notice to offer waiting families spaces.
Groups are subject to cancellation due to low RSVP.

Total cost $206.75
Full payment is required. Missing the session cannot be refunded. Cancellation as per the service agreement.
The cost of the program can be covered using:

Siblings who are not NDIS recipients are very welcome to attend as well (for free)

Parents and child/children will need to make their way there
|Your child supervision||Parents are required to supervise and participate with their children for the entire session. It is expected that parents will join in the play.|
|Lunch/Snacks||Parents are required to BYO picnic lunch/snacks (NO NUTS)|
|Weather||Playgroup will go ahead rain or shine and will only be cancelled if there is an extreme weather event.|
|Dress ready to get messy!||Please dress appropriately for the weather; hats and sunscreen if sunny, raincoats and gumboots for rain.|
