RSVP 1 ticket per person
Meet and share experiences and information with other fathers, grandfathers and other male carers
MyTime Men is a unique service for fathers and other male primary carers of children with a disability, developmental delay or chronic medical condition.
It’s a regular informal meeting place where you can unwind, socialise, talk about your experiences, get information, share ideas about managing a range of situations and support and be supported by others.
Members get to plan the group sessions around their specific needs as carers. MyTime Men group is run by parent facilitators who have shared experience in raising a child with disabilities and delays.
- Learn something new – in some sessions, the facilitator or a guest speaker might lead discussions on a topic of interest.
- Take care of yourself – sometimes, the group might just have fun with an activity aimed at helping members relax and look after their wellbeing.
This program is for
Fathers, Step-father, Male carers and other male family members of children with disability, developmental delay or neurodivergence aged 0-18 years old.
While Circle of Security is not a disability-specific program, it will provide families with an opportunity to use the approach to their child’s specific needs.
