Let’s talk about… a more inclusive future

August 25, 2022 @ 7:00 pm 8:30 pm AEST

Being a part of the community is something we all value. It is an important way that children with developmental delays or disabilities learn, have
fun, and thrive.

Helping our children join in with sporting, recreational, and cultural activities is a part of what we do as parents. Sometimes this is easy,
and at other times, it can be challenging.

Melo, Peer Worker, will share the successes and challenges of his family’s inclusion experience.

Dr Gen will also share information about how you can add to a national understanding of inclusion for children aged birth to 14 years old through the
Community and Me survey and the Photovoice survey for your child.

Join us for an interactive discussion about:

  • What sporting, recreation and cultural inclusion look like for children with developmental delays and disabilities
  • Children’s experience of inclusion
  • Family’s experience of inclusion
  • The Community & Me survey and the Photovoice survey for your child

This session is for
