4th Annual Family Conference: making the best of these uncertain times

Since 2017, our family conferences have been bringing together and inspiring families of children with a disability to take the lead and dream big.

Themed “Doing things differently,” the 4th Annual Family Conference is going online and shaping up to be another captivating event.

Our guests include key figures involved with shaping Early Childhood Intervention practice, policy and the NDIS; professionals and peer workers; and a person with disability making a difference in the film industry.

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many of our daily routines, including therapy moving online. It’s a big transition, but we have good news: the delivery may be different, but many families are making progress and achieving positive outcomes with their children. As children are always growing and developing, this conference will be about finding new ways for them to learn and thrive during these uncertain times.

The free conference will be held online on Sunday, 13 September from 1pm to 4pm.

It is for parents, carers and family members of children aged birth to 12 years old with a development delay, disability or neurodivergence. Early intervention professionals are also welcome.

The event is hosted by Plumtree, Now & Next and Reframing Disability.
