Sylvana Mahmic, Plumtree CEO, in conversation with special guest speaker, Sam Paior from The Growing Space in South Australia.
Sam is a solo mum to teenage boys, one with intellectual disability. She has worked as a Parliamentary Advisor, Public Speaker, Access Consultant, Advocate and Inclusion Supporter for a decade.
In 2007, she founded The Growing Space and also provides Support Coordination through the NDIS since its launch.
In this session Sam shares:
– Her experience of self-managing for her son
– Tips for self-management/plan management of NDIS funding, including what is reasonable and necessary.
